Making It Clear : Water Filter vs. Purifier
The difference between a filter and a purifier is defined by the EPA. A filter must remove 99.99% of the original contaminants in the water. A purifier must remove 99.99999% of the original contaminants in the water. The Super Sterasyl Filter is considered a water filter. The Black Berkey Filter and the filter in the Personal Water bottle are considered purifiers. The water is considered ultra pure.
